Government Relations Committee Meeting Featuring Assemblymember Marc Berman

Please join Bay Area Council Government Relations Committee Co-Chairs Andrew Giacomini, Managing Partner, Hanson Bridgett LLP, Peter Brightbill, Senior Vice President, Wells Fargo and Company, and Jim Wunderman, President and CEO, Bay Area Council for a Government Relations Committee meeting featuring California State Assemblymember Marc Berman. The Assemblyman will share his views and legislative agenda on key issues facing the region such as transportation, housing and workforce development.

Assemblymember Marc Berman is serving his first term in the State Assembly. He was elected in November of 2016 to represent the 24th Assembly District which includes Southern San Mateo and northern Santa Clara County. He is currently the chair of the Elections and Redistricting Committee and is a member for the following committees: Jobs, Economic Development and the Economy, Privacy and Consumer Protection and the Transportation Committee.

Prior to serving in the State Assembly, Assemblymember Berman was a Palo Alto City Councilmember. He worked as the development director at the Silicon Valley Education Foundation and worked as an attorney at Lathan & Watkins LLP and Merino Yerbi, LLP. Assemblymember Berman graduated from Georgetown University and law school at University of Southern California.
